For the newly designed and installed control system, in order to ensure that the control valve can work normally when control valve is driven and the system can operate safely, the new control valve should first check whether the nameplate mark on the control valve meets the design requirements before installation.At the same time, the following items should be debugged: basic error limit;Full travel deviation;Back to the poor;Dead zone;Leakage rate (in strict conditions).
If the control valve in the original system has been overhauled, in addition to the above checks, the old control valve should also be the packing and joint, and other parts of sealing check.
In the use of control valves, many of them are not caused by the quality of the control valves themselves, but caused by the improper installation of control valve, such as installation environment, improper installation position and direction or the cleaning of pipelines and other reasons.

The following points should be paid attention to when installing and using the control valve:

(1) the control valve belongs to the local instruments for environmental temperature should be in 25 ~ 60 ℃, relative humidity 95% or less.If the control valve is installed in the open or high temperature, waterproof and cooling measures should be adopted.Keep away from the source or increase the anti-vibration measures where there is a source.

(2) the control valve shall be installed vertically in general and can be tilted in special circumstances. If the inclination angle is large or the weight of the control valve is too large, the supporting part shall be added to protect the control valve.

(3) the pipe installed with control valve shall not be too high from the ground or the floor, and the platform shall be set as far as possible when the pipe height is greater than 2m to facilitate operation of handwheel and maintenance.

(4) the control valve should be cleaned before installation to remove dirt and welding slag.After installation, in order to ensure that no impurities remain in the body, the control valve should be cleaned again, that is, all control valves should be opened when entering the medium to avoid impurities from sticking.After using the handwheel mechanism, the original position should be restored.

(5) in order to allow the control valve to continue the production process in case of failure or maintenance, the control valve should add bypass piping, and pay special attention to whether the installation position of the control valve meets the requirements of the process.

(6) the installation of the electrical part of the control valve shall be conducted according to the construction requirements of related electrical equipment.If the flameproof products should be installed in accordance with the requirements of the electrical equipment installation code for explosive dangerous places.In the use of maintenance, in the explosion site is prohibited to open the cover maintenance and knock on the flameproof surface.At the same time, do not break or scratch the flameproof surface in the disassembly and repair to restore the original flameproof requirements.

(7) the actuator should be lubricated after disassembly and repair, and low-speed motor should not be dismantled and cleaned and refueled generally.After assembling, check whether the control valve position is consistent with the opening indication of valve position.
